DAI is preparing for an anticipated USAID funded agribusiness program in Egypt (Integrated Agribusiness Sector in Egypt (IASE) project) which will focus on strengthening agricultural markets and trade while utilizing technology and best practices to improve agricultural practices and value added processing. The anticipated program will address Egypt’s agricultural challenges in an effort to improve agricultural inputs and sector services and work with Egyptian counterparts to promote trade facilitation for key crops.
Core Responsibilities:
The Chief of Party (COP) will be responsible for overall project management, including strategic vision and field team leadership; development and implementation of work plans, overseeing operational budgets and performance monitoring plans; liaising with the USAID mission, government officials, other donors and partner organizations; identifying and mitigating program risks, and ensuring achievement of project results and objectives. The COP will supervise key project staff and ensure compliance with DAI ethics, procedures and policies and USAID rules and regulations. Additional responsibilities include:
