Purpose
The Consultant Analyst/Writer, Migration and Displacement will support the Chief, Sustainability, Advocacy and Policy Unit, and the incoming Policy Specialist, Migration and Displacement, to build on the Uprooted report and develop major advocacy reports on safe passage and detention. This work will strengthen UNICEF's evidence and policy acumen on children on the move, and provide new evidence and recommendations to promote their rights at this critical juncture.
Expected results: (measurable results)
Production of the following documents: 

1. Major advocacy flagship report – Safe Passage: Protecting Children on the Move (75 pages with data and graphics)

1. Major advocacy flagship report: Confined: Why Children on the Move Shouldn't Be Detained (40 pages with data and graphics)

Support with the following events and processes:
Launch of the two major advocacy reports
Duty Station
The consultant will be based on-site.
