Reporting to the Director of the Department, the role of the Grant Proposal Specialist is to prepare high quality effective grant and partner proposals and reports to identified target donors and partners, including governmental donors, non-governmental philanthropic donors, and commercial partners. The Grant Proposal Specialist will apply best practice and the highest standards of accuracy, delivering carefully-tailored proposals and reports with high quality text, data, photos and video, to secure new and increased funding for GFP programmes, research and capacity development. This role internally will liaise with the CEO, the Director of the Donor and Partner Communications Department and other team members across the four departments in GFP head office in Jordan; externally, the Grant Proposal specialist will liaise with GFP Delegates and Pioneers, donors and partner organisations and other stakeholders.
The GFP headquarters team in Amman, Jordan, comprises four departments: Programmes, Institute, Donor and Partner Communications, and Corporate Services. The headquarters team is young, dynamic, and diverse, with more than 10 nationalities. This role is in the Donor and Partner Communications Department.
