Position Description
|
|
This position will provide a variety of routine to complex administrative support to the Survey Research Group Director. Responsibilities of the position will include but are not limited to:
- Coordinate meeting schedules; assist with meeting materials and document production, process invoices, assist in formatting and proofreading reports and proposals.
- Request and reconcile respondent payments for focus groups, interviews, etc.
- Handle client calls, relay calls and messages, triage external/internal questions or request to appropriate department staff.
- Manage special projects including Operations, Human Resources, and Administrations.
- Responsible for coordinating internal/external meetings, conferences and luncheons.
- Schedule and maintain calendar, extensive travel arranging and preparation of expense reimbursements.
- Organize and manage the department filing system, including the organizational chart, coordinator and field coverage reports, and department resumes.
- Serve as Timekeeper for the Survey Research Group.
- Order and maintain office supplies.

Qualifications
|
|
The successful candidate must possess exceptional technical skills in Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint; must exhibit professional demeanor and excellent judgement, be proactive and possess the ability to multi-task and prioritize with minimal direction. It is also critical that this individual be a team player and be able to demonstrate tact, courtesy and judgement in working with all levels of personnel within and outside of RAND.
