Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
- Create and distribute monthly IT newsletters.
- Support and maintain internal IT communications toolkits, including standard templates for global announcements on system upgrades, enhancements, etc.
- Coordinate and manage the schedule and delivery of IT communications and announcements.
- Create quick reference guides, as needed, in light of product or process changes.
- Develop and publish content on the IRC’s global intranet (IT Team site).
- Work closely with functional support teams; including IT Helpdesk, and Project Management to develop and deliver important employee announcements.
- Design and develop PowerPoint presentations and promotional materials for employee communications.
- Identify and implement metrics that evaluate the impact and reach of our corporate intranet and internal e-newsletters, using Bananatag or similar tracking tool.
Learning Outcomes
- Will learn how to build creative strategies to effectively communicate with global teams
- Will learn how to manage and coordinate communication rollout plans for key projects
- Will have an opportunity to observe, interact, and network with global IRC staff
Education:
- Two years of college level courses completed required. Classes completed in marketing, communication, writing / journalism or graphic design preferred.
