Ongoing Internship Opportunities Available  

General Information

Location: Washington, DC

Position Summary

At IREX we strive to provide interns with substantive assignments to enhance their professional development.   We seek interns year-round for limited duration assignments generally ranging from 3-12 months. Interns generally work 20-40 hours per week. Start dates are flexible based on the needs of IREX and interns are paid at the rate of $12/hour.  
Ideal candidates are enrolled in or recently graduated from undergraduate or graduate degree programs with a focus on a discipline of professional relevance to IREX.  They are expected to be detail oriented with strong interpersonal skills and to possess the ability to work independently.  Interns must demonstrate excellent communications skills, verbal and written, as appropriate for the responsibilities of the particular role.   At all times, IREX interns must maintain a professional demeanor for working in cross-cultural environments.
